It is important you know that I, Misty Marsh, owner of DesignedForGoodness.com earn income from this website. It is also important you know that the compensation I receive (or don’t receive) does not influence the content, topics, posts, or products on this website. I base my decisions of what to post, sell and recommend on what I believe is most helpful for you.

I only endorse products that I fully trust. Every product I link to, mention, or recommend is one I am impressed with. If I wouldn’t use it, or recommend my family member use it, I will not recommend it to you and your family.  I will not promote or recommend a product I have not used myself. 

The views and opinions expressed on this website are purely my own. Even if I appear to be an expert on a certain topic or product or service area, any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.

What I do With The Income I Earn on This Website:

I am very grateful for the compensation I receive from the Designed For Goodness website.  I use it in a few ways:

Pay for overhead:

The income I earn provides the means to pay for hosting my website, payment processors, email list system, client management systems, advertisements and more.

Goodness and charitable causes:

When I started this site I felt strongly that God wanted me to use a significant portion of my income to help others.  As such, I have  committed to giving away 25% of my profit.  I do not always give to the same person / organization.  I give as I feel prompted to.  Sometimes, that may mean I help a neighbor pay their mortgage or a friend buy Christmas presents for their kids.  Other times, I may donate to a favorite charity.  I might also take my family on a humanitarian trip.

My Family:

Anything above overhead, taxes, tithing and my charitable spending compensates me for time away from my family. I try very hard to be sure that my husband and kids are always my first priority. However, maintaining this site is nearly a full time job, and I (and my family) do make sacrifices for it at times.   I firmly believe that I should be compensated for my efforts.
