two thumbs up

Did you know that about 70% of people read their email on a mobile device?

Transcript:

I have one very simple email marketing tip that will make a big difference in your email game.

Today’s tip is particularly bite-sized ladies. But, it is a good one. Did you know that about 70% of people read their email on a mobile device? Think about that. That means that if a hundred people open an email you sent to them, around 70 of them are going to be reading it on their phones.

Make it easier for people to click on a link

And what finger do you use when you’re on mobile? It’s your least nimble digit. It’s your thumb, right? Have you ever been on a site that was particularly difficult for you to navigate with your thumb? It gets frustrating, right?

This is especially true when you’re trying to click on a button or a link, if it’s hard to click and you have to try a couple of times, you might just give up.

In our fast-paced world, you want to avoid this for the people who are reading your emails. You want to make it really quick and easy for them to find your links and click on them.

So here’s the tip. Make sure that when you add a link inside of an email that it is on its own line, all by its lonesome out there. I bet, if you do it, your click rate will go up, which means your sales will go up. Go through your autoresponder emails today and make that change. If you don’t have an autoresponder, then commit to making the change in the next email that you send.
